Bill created a new campaign using Microscope, a story telling game about world building, in order for us to play a game using Small Folk, a setting book for Fate Core. It’s part of the Wainscott genre, about tiny people living undetected in human dwellings. Several clans of brownies, gremlins, and other small folk living in the area around Top of the Rock, a golf course and resort. Who are these people and what is their culture? Evidence gathered in Boston points to another cult ritual that involves alchemy. The investigators don’t know what the purpose of the ritual is or what will happen if the cult succeeds, but they know that it must be stopped. However, there is a price to pay even if the Armitage Inquiry succeeds.

A new document has led the team to Boston, to dig into the nefarious criminal underworld. As they prowl the streets looking for clues about the cult’s latest plot to end the world, they must also deal with murderous gangsters who do not like interlopers. What’s inside that skinny house?

The Armitage Inquiry zeroes in on a new front for the mysterious cult. At first it seems to be a group of scientific scholars, but the investigators know looks can be deceiving. Their secrets are held within a building but how will the Armitage team find a way in?
