Konflikt 47: Operation Metsästäjä – Game 5
The Battle of Kajaani ended in a demoralizing stalemate; neither side able to claim their prize, and the Axis left with a smoking ruin where a key strategic element once hid. Despite Axis High Command growing increasingly impatient, the Finnish escorts have withdrawn back to more immediate areas of concern, leaving the Japanese to bivouac in the town of Uhtua. The sides seem content with resting the wounded and reevaluating their respective missions when a Soviet convoy approaches Uhtua. Far from their citadel-like forward operating bases and using significantly more disciplined comm etiquette has made the wayward Soviets a prime target of opportunity for both the Japanese and Allies…

Two of the three thieves who assaulted Kryptik Solutions are behind bars, but some egos have been bruised, and the team is no closer to learning the purpose of the attempted theft. And oh yeah, they have their own personal lives and relationships to take care of – family, school…and whatever Fravashi is. And on top of all that, it appears that they’ve attracted the attention of some established superheroes! With professionals now keeping an eye on them, will our heroes walk the line, or will they go their own way?
Halcyon City is a city on a hill, the cutting edge of culture, technology, and wealth. It’s a big place to get caught up in, even for a career superhero, let alone four super-teens trying to make names for themselves. Follow Bug-Eye, Nyan-Chan, Glitch, and Jamani as they face villains, and try to figure out what kind of heroes they want to be, for better or worse.

As our heroes struggle to lose their Nazi pursuers, they realize that they must double back and return to the City of the Falls if they want to find a way to power Dr. Munoz’s drilling machine back to the surface. But even if they manage to shake the Nazis and make it back to the drilling machine, what of that gang of dim-witted bank robbers who hijacked the drilling machine in the first place?
Having decided that it’s time to size up the Island of Atlantis, our band of bold adventurers have decided to collect the sort of things that the Atlanteans are most interested in acquiring, in order to gain access to the city as merchants. Returning to the ruins of the City of Falls, with a new Lizardman guide in tow, they discover a drilling machine from the surface world. Could this be their way home? Or will drilling machine’s creator prove less than friendly?
